VIDEO: 2 types of people that answer ads...which are you?

Did you know there are 2 types of people that answer ads.

In my 4 ½ years of working from home successfully, I have learned there are 2 types of people who answer ads offering opportunities - Those that are serious about changing their financial well-being & those that give it lip service. I can definitely assist those that are serious and are ready to take action. I have yet to figure out a way to assist those that are giving it lip service. The great news is people get to choose every day which ideology they subscribe to! Start asking yourself which category you are in.

Let's talk about both for a brief minute. I have witnessed on countless occasions that those that are serious about creating change are the one's that get RESULTS. Nothing strange about this. Most people in this category are ready for a BIG change & are out searching for the right vehicle and the right mentor. I know from our experience here that the vehicle we are offering is the most lucrative opportunity on the planet. I get calls & emails every week from people trying to cross-recruit or reverse market to me. It never fails, they have the next big idea or they feel they are marketing the bigger better deal. I hate to be the one to tell them that what they are offering cannot touch our business in respect to products, lifestyle & the all-important dollars earned (the compensation plan) but I do. I have several brand new people on my team right now that are experiencing financial gains better than any other time in their lives. Take Chris in VA for example. He earned more in his first month here than he made in 6 years combined working another business full out. I'll share another example in just a few minutes.

Let's talk about the people who answer ads with the "intent" on requesting information & then never take action. What can I do to assist these folks? I guess I could use the lead a horse to water analogy we are all familiar with. I guess I could shoot the horse & then drag their dead carcass to water to drink? That cracks me up - sorry, I am the funniest person I know! Seriously, think about that analogy. these are the people that want to feel good about looking for something better. They want to feel good about looking for something & then they come up with all the reasons they should not start a business. Typically, these are the very reasons they should start a business. The very reasons they deserve to make a change. You have heard the saying "talk is cheap"? The exact opposite is true! For people in this category, Talk is expensive. Very expensive if you ask me. It is costing these people their lives, their happiness & their freedom.

All this sounds great on paper but let's look at 2 people as examples. I spoke with a guy last week that answered an ad of mine a couple of months ago; let's call him "Kevin" (his name has been changed in case he reads his email). He just bought a new house, has "tried" several other businesses & works in a factory & while @ the factory, he doesn't even have the freedom to make a 2-minute phone call. He is monitored every minute of the day while @ work. He hopes to find something so he can quit his miserable job. This guy has been toying with the idea of getting started with us here. I am willing to bet the farm that when he does get started here, if he'll follow the proven system, he'll be out of his job quickly. In the mean time, I have a lady on my team that got started with us the week this guy originally answered our ad; we'll call her "Suzanne". She followed the system to the letter, took immediate action & she has put over $10,000 in her pocket since getting started. She "didn't have the money" to get started here. She did go out & figure out how to get the required capital necessary to get herself started here. 2 people with the exact same opportunity, 2 people with the exact same earning potential, 2 people with similar bank accounts prior to answering my ad. The factory worker guy has been dragging his feet & is still barely getting by, living paycheck to paycheck. He must be waiting for life to get even better before creating the change he so desperately claims to want. Do you see how "expensive" this choice is to this person? This is the type of person who tiptoes through life hoping to arrive safely to death. Doesn't sound that appealing to me. I don't want to settle for what the corporate world thinks I am worth, etc. I want to be the guy sitting in the driver's seat of my own life.

Suzanne, the lady who started the EXACT week I initially spoke to Kevin has just put in her 2-week notice to her boss & has already earned $10,0000 profit. That is about 1/3 of her annual income. I love speaking to her on the phone. She is fired up. Her kids are seeing the change in their mom. Her life is beginning to transform right before her eyes. It all boils down to making a decision to move life forward & then following up with action.

When I originally started this business, I asked some of the people in my life for advise as to what they saw here. Some where super supportive while others started telling me why this would never work & why I should play it safe @ my job. When I looked at my friends that were giving me the go for it advise, I noticed these were the most successful people in my life, people who were getting the results I desired in my life. The opposite rang true for the people who were the naysayers. Was I willing to take advise from the people who were already making significantly less than me & getting results I did not desire? I heard a few years ago that if you take the average income of your 5 closest people in your life, that one's income is typically on average +/- $5,000. Why would I take financial advise from those that are not achieving the level of income I desire? I would be crazy to accept this as my reality. That would be like taking advise from an obsessively overweight physician. Who are you asking for advise from? Looking back, I am super grateful that I had this distinction & decided to follow my dream. Leslie & I were able to quit our jobs in less than 30 days. 4 ½ years later, we are living life full out. We are both home & raising our daughter together. We have generated a huge income. I'm not bragging here but allow me the space to show you how lucrative this business really is. We took off ½ of the month of August for family trips, vacation, etc. & still earned $29,000 profit! That is more than I earned annually at my first two jobs working in the corporate world! I'll be the first one to share this with you in case you are wondering, we are not special. There are so many people earning a huge income here.

Let me share several years of experience with you right now. THIS IS THE BEST TIME OF YEAR TO START IN THIS INDUSTRY! People are home from summer vacation, the kids are going back to school, the weather will begin to cool off (being in the 100ยบ plus desert heat - very soon I hope) & the days will start to get shorter. People start to realize that what they are doing simply is not cutting it anymore.

I recommend you decide quickly which category's belief you fall in. If you are in the category of those giving their own life lip service, I strongly suggest that you take immediate action to change that.

Summer is nearly over in North America. Did you enjoy yourself to the extent you expected this summer? Is your life or your lifestyle any better than it was 3 months ago? Are you living where you really want to & in the house you dreamed about? Are you driving the car you truly want? Where you are in your life right now is a direct result of the choices you have made & the actions associated with those choices.

The great news is that you & you alone can change this drastically in the next few months. Think about this. Visualize that it is December 31, 2007. You are looking back over 2007 with a huge smile on your face. You look at where you made a choice to no longer settle for the life you were living. A community that takes a stand for you living life on your terms now surrounds you. You have either quit your job or are very close to making that happen. You are now your own boss. No schedule, no overtime, no boss telling you what you are worth, no commute to a job. All of this became possible because you made a choice & then took action. Remember, not making a choice is still a choice.

Leslie & I are committed to assisting people that are ready to create change & freedom. We invite you to call us & see how we are getting people into a money making position faster than ever before.

So which group are you in & will you stay there? It starts with taking action.

New site is live & I am still traveling

Hi all,

It has been a while since I shared what all has been transpiring in our lives over the past 20 days or so. Leslie, Jayden & I are in Springfield, MO visiting her grandparents. It is our annual trip where all of here family comes here for some well-deserved down-time together. We flew here from our home in Scottsdale via a private chartered jet. It was pretty cool. It is the 2nd trip this month where we have traveled by private charter. I'll have to get some videos up soon.

Make sure you visit the new site that we brought back live today - www.IncomeExperts.com

Leslie, Jayden & I spent an extended weekend in Las Vegas meeting with several members of our team. It was amazing to see the growth & duplication throughout our organization. We have seen so many leaders & top income earners grow out of our lineage. We are super stoked to have meet with so many of our new team members - we had people from our team from all over planet earth. I think Paula L. traveled the furthest, as she lives in the suburbs of Melbourne, Australia.

We head home tomorrow & will be back shortly after with pics, posts & more.

2 Border Patrol checks, 3 tacos, 5 hours & 6 thousand dollars...

Let me first tell you how cool technology is. I am typing this from the passenger seat of my buddy's car as we are in the middle of nowhere between California & Arizona. My buddy Brian & I left the cool beaches of San Diego this afternoon to head back to Scottsdale for a couple of days to knockout some business at home. I grabbed this cool little wireless device for my Mac & presto - I am connected to the net from the car.

So a few hours into our trip & 2 border patrol checkpoints later we stopped off for some chow in the bustling metropolis of Yuma, AZ. We decided on Mexican food & quickly began our quest to find a local establishment. Locating Mexican food in Arizona & Southern California is typically easier than finding a cab in NYC. Brian suggests the little authentic shack and we pull in.... the sign says open. We stop & I guess they thought the two guys in the Benz S550 were going to rob them or something because they locked the door on us. Not the outside door mind you. They locked the metal inner screen door and told us no thanks. Not to be rejected... we continued our search. Ahh... could it be. We passed a few other little taco shacks ahead of us only to find Taco Bell & Del Taco to be open. Are you kidding me? This is the best that Yuma can do. If you don't know where Yuma sits on the map - look it up. It is one of the closest cities to Mexico in America. Finding Mexican food should be simple. Nonetheless, we select Del Taco & pull in. The 3 tacos we got were to tacos what a White Castle burger is to a hamburger. Ok, I'm "sorta" full...

The highlight of this whole experience is that I am enjoying the freedom I have created for myself. Not to mention that 2 sales today netted what I used to make in 1 month at my corporate job. Even cooler is that members of my Australian team will be joining us for the upcoming Super Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada in August, as well as the upcoming Liberty Conference in October.

I'll be heading back to San Diego in 2 days. I'll check in soon...

Still in San Diego, CA - Portable Business

So Leslie, Jayden & I returned from our trip to Australia on June 2, '07... we returned to the scorching Arizona heat of 110°+. After 3 whole days, we couldn't take it anymore. Thursday, we packed up & headed to the cooler climate of San Diego's beaches. We arrived to find the weather much more bare able with highs in the mid 70's & lows in the high 50's/low 60's. We originally came with the intention of only staying a long weekend... 5 days tops.

Today marks day #11. What really makes this so incredible is that our business is truly portable. Since being here in San Diego we have enjoyed business as usual. We have had a number of people join our team & get started with the opportunity.

We have enjoyed taking Jayden to her 1st Atlanta Braves game, taking Jayden to the beach for the 1st time, countless bike rides on the beach, fireworks every night, breakfast on the beach every morning, and so much more. We plan on taking Jayden to see Orca @ Sea World & taking her to the world famous San Diego Zoo. I also have learned to surf since being here, something I have wanted to do for 20 years.

Let me share this before I get going... Jayden laughed for the 1st time yesterday for me & today for Leslie. What a beautiful sound!!! I don't see us heading back to the AZ heat anytime soon. We'll be here available via phone for at least another week.

Live from San Diego

Hi all... Leslie, Jayden & I are back home in the US after spending 2 weeks abroad in Sydney, Australia. The trip was amazing. I've been wanting to go to Australia since I was about 8 or 9 years old. I've posted some pictures on our blog @ IncomeExperts.net for you to experience the trip with us. We climbed the Sydney Harbor Bridge, visited the zoo, experienced minus 18 degrees, enjoyed the world famous aquarium, dined at the highest point in the city @ the Sydney Tower, visited the beaches, walked on FIRE, not to mention we had the unique opportunity to learn from brilliant minds like Bob Proctor (you may know Bob from the movie "The Secret") & Lynne McTaggart ("What The Bleep Do We Know")

After getting back to our home in Scottsdale, we enjoyed 7 different fireworks shows from our house on the 4th of July, as we live on the side of a mountain overlooking the city below. We had to escape the blazing 110 degree plus heat of the desert. We lasted a whopping 3 days home in the heat. We jetted over to the sunny & cool beaches of San Diego, CA (It reminds me of spending 2 weeks away last summer in South Africa & then spending 1 month living on the beach in Florida). I am committed to spending next summer in Hawaii.

Since we have been here in San Diego, we have taken Jayden to her 1st Atlanta Braves game (Braves won), I've begun to learn to surf, we enjoyed the beach, countless bike rides, some great food, enjoyed the company of some of our business partners & all the time enjoyed the true portability of our business. Where else can someone truly enjoy this level of freedom without impacting their business or job? This lifestyle would NEVER be possible for us if we were still working for someone else.

I know you are ready to see how this business will afford you & your family the freedom you deserve. My main number (480) 515-9890 will call my cell phone here on the beach. I have also added a number for those of you who live in Australia (+61) (02) 8005 1844.

The best time to reach me is after 11 pm EST & before 9 pm EST.

Make sure you leave your name & phone number (including area code) if you get my voice mail.

It is 7:50 PM PST & I am off to enjoy a wonderful glass of wine & another beautiful sunset.
I look forward to hearing from you shortly.

Day 6 - Sydney, Australia

We started our day off with sunrise in the rooftop club... After breakfast, we headed over to the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Center for another jam-packed day of our Summit Conference. The session began with a video of Brent & Julia Payne's experience of staying several days in the outback with members of an Aborigine tribe. To see how these people have been applying the basics of personal development for 10's of thousands of years is mind-blowing. It is tragic to also learn that this culture is dying rapidly, as the offspring have moved to the cities & want nothing to do with there culture.

After the videos we completed an exercise that allows people to learn to "Be" with someone. The exercise is designed to enlighten someone's ability to "Be" with another person. Very eye-opening. It really is indescribable. It is amazing how many people go through life unable or scared to be with another human being. Everybody knew that they would have the opportunity to walk across fire today.

From here, we loaded up several private coaches & headed out of Sydney a couple of hours.

Destination: Tobruk sheep station ranch.

Objective: Crush fear forever.

Method: walk on fire.

If someone can walk across fire, they can do anything!

Upon arrival, we noticed a rancher on horse back riding along side the coach we were on. There were sheep, horses, lamb & dogs all around the ranch.

We piled in tents (reminded me of Cirque du Soleil a bit) & were shortly introduced to Matt Brady, the man who would teach us how to walk across fire. Matt's presentation was amazing! The experience ranks up on the charts as one of the best speakers I have ever had the pleasure of listening to. Matt brought up some cool points - people become stuck in fear, whether real or not. It is in the fear that we stop ourselves from having experience.

It was really cool to see people confront & deal with fear. The coals were hot... water boils @ 212 degrees. The coals we walked across were 1200-1300 degrees. Leslie & I had a woman in front of us that could not go on her turn. She kept letting people "jump" in front of her. She focused and made her walk right before Leslie & I were to walk. It was beautiful to watch her take action in spite of her fear.

The views from the Tobruk ranch looked out over the Blue Mountains. The Blue Mountains get there name from the abundant eucalyptus growing there. The oil in the eucalyptus leaves permeate the air & the effect is the blue color. Imagine the Grand Canyon covered in blue plants.

Over 500 people ended up walking across searing coals today, kids, teenagers, adults, elderly! What a life changing experience for all, Leslie & I included. We loaded up the buses & headed back. The ride home was too short.

After getting back to the hotel, we called it an early evening & ensured we were well rested for our adventure the next day!

Day 5 - Bob Proctor of The Secret & Liberty League International

Day 5: Today we spent all day w/ Bob Proctor of the Secret. This is the 3rd or 4th time Bob has been on a Liberty League International stage. He started with LLI back in 2001 when Liberty League International was just a concept. The accolades he shared this trip about the growth & direction "The League" has experienced sounded like a very proud poppa!!! I found it intriguing how he shared that his participation in the world smash hit movie, The Secret was purely the Law of Attraction in Action!

Leslie & I first heard Bob in 02/04 in Oahu, Hawaii. Bob's message is like a laser beam that cut's right through me (you). He gets right to the heart of the matter. I do not think anyone in the audience will ever look @ life the same!

That night, we went out on the town with some friends. We went to a bar called Minus 5, the coolest experience. The bar keeps the temperature @ a minimum of 5 degrees below zero. They issued all of us parkas & timers at the door, as guests are limited to a total of 30 minutes in the ice bar. We enjoyed cocktails from "glasses" made from ice. Everything inside the bar is made from ice, the bar itself, the shelves, the chairs & loveseats. A particularly interesting feature in the bar was the waterfall. Instead of water, anti-freeze flows to prevent it from freezing.

From the ice bar, we went to a restaurant close by, called Aria. Aria is a very swanky & cosmopolitan style place. We enjoyed some amazing wine & a multi-course dinner. We rounded off the evening after several hours & headed back to the hotel.

Day 4 - Sydney, Australia

On our 4th day here in Sydney, Leslie, Jayden, Leslie's mom & I grabbed breakfast at dawn from the top floor again. The view is the best in the city. After watching daybreak thorough the morning clouds and the rain dissipate, we all walked down to the Circle Quay Harbor & caught a ferry over to the zoo. It was such a wonderful ride over on the high speed catamaran. The ride was smooth & the views were nothing short of perfect. Our ferry ride was Jayden's first boat ride & she loved it. We arrived @ the zoo & were immediately welcomed by dozens of Koala Bears. After several minutes of koala bear photo opps, we began our adventure & ran into a group of LLI associates. The morning & afternoon was filled with showing Jayden various animals. We enjoyed lunch and headed back to the harbor after lunch.

Our evening began early & we were shuttled to the Sydney Convention & Exhibition Center for the Summit Conference's Welcome Reception. There is nothing in the world like the energy a person feels right as the doors open to any Liberty League International conference. People rushed in & within 5 minutes, every seat was claimed & people were ready to get the proverbial ball rolling.

The Welcome Reception was amazing... good food, spirits, & high energy buzz throughout. Here we are in Sydney, Australia with over 500 other LLI Summit Advisor's & Associates. It was also the first time I was able to introduce my LLI community to Jayden.

The aborigine music & culture entertainment really set the tone. Tomorrow - all day w/ Bob Proctor!

Day 3 - Adventures in Sydney

So after watching daybreak from the rooftop club, we gathered up & ventured out of the hotel. We walked over to an area called the Rocks. It is just below the Sydney Harbor Bridge. The Rocks sports some very eclectic cafes & restaraunts, upscale shopping & some very hip open-air markets with vendors of all types. Reminded me of Santa Monica's Farmer's Market. We wandered & found ourselves at the base of the bridge.

We wandered back to the hotel in the rain, knowing that we were going to climb to the top of the Sydney Harbor Bridge with the EMC.

We met up with our fellow EMC members and dropped Jayden off with grandmom. Climbed aboard the coach & the Adventures begin. Leslie & I were in the 1st group of climbers, made up of LLI co-founders, Brent Payne & Shane Krider, their wives Julia & Michelle, & our direct team members & fellow EMC colleagues Gene & Heather Braxton, Jack & Robin Firestone & newly inducted Tony Rush. It was so great to experience this moment with our team. After a series of classes & instructions, we geared up & start our walk towards the bridge. We snapped our tethers in & begin the trek to the Summit of the bridge. The walk up was in the daylight. As we walk through a tunnel carved out of the cement, we emerge on a catwalk that has a grated floor looking down below. The impact of the height really hits now & the knowledge of knowing that we were still below street level begins to set in. We climb up a series of ladders slowly emerging head on with traffic to our direct left. We had climbed out a hole just to right side of oncoming traffic.

Still climbing, we continue up further to the top of the girder. From here we begin our ascent to the Summit of the bridge. On our journey to the top, we continue to look behind us @ the city of Sydney glowing behind us. The sun will have set by the time we make it to the top, so ensuring that we pay particular attention to the view behind us is important. About 1/2 way to the top, the rain began to set-in. It was very moving to me to experience the rain on the bridge. After living in the desert for so long now, rain has a very special meaning to me. Something I really took for granted when I lived back east.

We made it to the top of the bridge in about 2 hours. We spent a fair amount of time looking out all around us in Sydney. The sun has set by now & the city is glowing with lights. We can look down directly into the site of the Olympic swimming competition from our view @ the top.

As we descend, we are looking straight back @ our hotel & down town Sydney. We really get a clear view of how high we are on the bridge & how high we enjoyed our lunch from the Sydney Tower just the day before. After completing our climb, we again board the coach bus waiting on us. We go back to our suite, shower & change into evening clothes and are driven to an awaiting yacht called Morpheus. Our dinner cruise is now officially underway. We enjoy cocktails, conversation, Texas hold'em Poker & Blackjack aboard the yacht. After dinner, we are all out front cruising in front of the Bridge & light up Opera House, when Brent & Shane announce a special treat for us. The next thing we know, we are treated to a 20 minute firework display. The eveing is enchanting & magical. How fitting to realize that everyone looking @ the Harbor can see our firework display. The irony of LLI arriving in Sydney is poetic.

Day 3

Leslie & I wake-up at 6 AM local time this morning... We shower & head up stairs before day break. Enjoying coffee & breakfast, we are the first to arrive in the club & from our point of view we are the first to enjoy the sunrise over the harbor. Looking to the east, the sun is having a slow time getting our beyond the clouds & rain. Their is a fog & mist throughout the city. I don't think the odds favor us for this to clear up before we are scheduled to climb the bridge this afternoon.

I noticed that I left my cord to connect my camera to my laptop, so I'll have to add the appropriate pictures upon our arrival back stateside.

Sydney - Day 2

Our day started with an early phone call from Brian & Rhonda, some of our friends from San Diego. Rhonda & Brian were at the club for sunrise & breakfast was being served. The three of us put it in gear to not miss an enchanting sunrise. The sun across the harbor is nothing short of breathtaking.

After breakfast we sat and enjoyed our coffees & hot chocolates, talked, dreamed & enjoyed the ambiance. We started to notice the vibe of the hotel transforming in front of our eyes. As more and more LLI associates and advisor's begin to check in.

Down in the lobby we were greeted by countless friends within our LLI community. We began our day on foot, heading out on an adventure with no destination. Wandering the streets, we looked up & saw the Sydney tower calling to us like a beacon. Somewhere on the way we found old faithful, Starbucks. It is safe to say the basics are the same no matter your longitude or latitude. It is note able to mention that they come in Venti's down here.

We ended up walking through the Beverly Hills of Sydney. Chanel, Tiffany's, Louis Vutton, Cartier & others lined both sides of the streets as we headed towards the tower.

We took the lift up to the highest man made point in all of Australia. On top we enjoyed an international lunch. We sat, ate, drank, viewed out over Sydney & people watched those all around us. We lost track of time for a few hours. A couple behind us celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary with friends & family. It was great to see their love overflowing & the passion they enjoyed with their loved ones.

After lunch, we climbed out of the tower & embarked on foot towards the harbor. We strode past blocks and blocks of historic buildings. We arrived at the gates of the botanical gardens, which size reminds me of NY's Central Park. Walking through the park, we were met with various themes throughout. Our journey led us to the castle I had seen from our hotel. The police officers at the front gate informed us the importance of this massive structure. It is the Government House, which was home to Sydney's Governor until 1997. The grounds are magical. We walked around the beautiful building taking it all in. The building itself left me awestruck.

Walking back to our hotel, we walked past the Consortium of Music, which is directly across the motorway from our place.

Back in the hotel, more Associates have checked in & the transformation of Libertyville AU continues.

Back @ our place, we found fresh flowers, cheeses & a few bottles of Australian wines. It was Happy Hour in our suite. The wine here is delicious. We also were left our itinerary for tomorrow's adventure: we are set to climb the Sydney Harbor Bridge & take a 5 hour dinner cruise aboard a yacht.

Wrapping up the evening led us to Happy Hour in the rooftop club & dinner in one of the suites. Looking out over the city watching the twinkle of the lights - Sydney is a good feeling city. We are early to bed, as we transition to the time change.

Day 1 - Sydney, Australia

So after taking in breakfast @ our hotel upon arrival, we decided to venture out into the city. Our goal was to stay awake as long as possible to prevent jet-lag. We walked down to Circle Quay (pronounced key), which is the 2nd busiest ferry harbor in the world. Hong Kong claims the busiest. From there we walked to the Sydney Opera House. The sheer size & mass of the Opera House cannot be appreciated until one is standing next to it. We enjoyed a lunch waterfront. The locals here are super friendly & are very happy people. We enjoyed walking the area with Jayden & Leslie's mom. After walking to dinner back down @ the Quay, we retired & called it an early night.

Arrival in Australia

Greetings friends,

We arrived here in Sydney around 6 AM local time after flying 14 1/2 hours from LAX. The rain has subsided for now & the locals say it is cold here now (55ยบ F). I am still in shorts after flying through the night. Jayden is such a great little girl. She was such a great sport on both flights.

The hotel is nothing short of enchanting. Reminds me of a cross of Miami, Manhattan & the vibe of The W HOTEL. I am sitting on the top floor of the hotel in the Club Intercontinental room right now writing to you all. The club room is located on the 32nd floor of the hotel. As I type this to you, I am overlooking the Sydney Harbor bridge, I've got to do the bridge tour that climbs to the top. The view looking directly down is of the Sydney Opera House 32 stories below. The view is of the back side of the Opera House. I am sure that if someone looks @ pictures of the Opera House from the front, that you can see our hotel behind it.

I'm looking @ a castle of some sort just to the right of the Opera House. The view is spectacular. The traffic on the water is fairly heavy & the midday sun is creating a beautiful glitter across the waterway. I'll have to take some photos to post here later. After the girls rest a spell, we are off to start exploring the local area. I'm off to see what I can find close to the hotel now. I think I'll go explore the castle or see how to charter on of the speedboats I see flying all around the harbor...

Cheers,

Michael

Kangaroos & Koala Bears

G'day Mates,

Hold your calls... Between the housekeeper, the dog & a fish named Sushi - no one here will speak english for 2 weeks.

We are roughly 24 hours away from leaving on another big trip... I have been dreaming about this particular trip for nearly 30 years. I must have been 8 or 9 years old when I first learned of the land of Kangaroos & Koala Bears. This year's Summit Conference trip is to the land "down-under" in Sydney, Australia. It has been SOLD OUT for over a month & I want you to join us...

Since getting started with Liberty League International in March '03, we have traveled to places people usually only dream about for our Summit Conference. Last Summer it was taking safaris in South Africa, in 2005 we were snowboarding on a glacier while in Whistler, British Columbia, in 2004 we went to Athens, Greece (& 5 or 6 Greek Isles) just weeks before the 2004 Olympic Games & in 2003, our 1st year with the company is when we chartered a private island & had the local equivalent of our American Governor marry us while we were in the Fiji Islands.

2007 will be no different. It is our 4 month old daughter Jayden's first stamp in her passport. Leslie, Jayden & I are joining 500 of our business partners for the 2007 Summit Conference being held in Sydney, Australia. We are staying @ the world famous Intercontinental hotel right by the Sydney Opera House. The hotel will come to your suite & draw a bath for you upon request. Service is what this hotel is based on. Besides being a world class resort, the featured speakers have been featured in numerous movies, on Oprah several times, Larry King, NBC Nightly News, Ellen & just about every major newspaper

Leslie, Jayden & I invite you to join us in Australia from your home (or your job or office - Boo!!!) by visiting this site, our blog IncomeExperts.net
(IncomeExperts.blogspot.com) frequently over the next 2 weeks. (Bookmark this to your favorites)

P.S. - People ask me all the time, "Michael, what are you reading?" Right now, I am about 1/2 way through Wayne Dyer's "Believe It & You Will See It". I suspect I will finish it before we land in Sydney. I'll let you know my next book from the land down under.

Less than 48 hours...

The timer is on... Our house feels like we are waiting for Santa. Leslie & I are stoked that we are heading to Australia. Everything is set. Our limo arrives in under 48 hours. Tomorrow should be amazing... We're going to pack, run some last minute orders into the corporate office, build a support list for our team & play. Feels like Spring Break week...

Cheers for now,

Michael

Michael Hamburger & his team raise $20,000 for breast cancer research.

Michael Hamburger & team raise $20,000 for Avon Breast Cancer Walk.

Michael Hamburger & members of his direct Liberty League International team raised $20,000 for the Avon Breast Cancer Walk. Michael Hamburger’s mother Jeanette lost her battle in 1989 after a 6-year bout with breast cancer. For a 17 year old teenager, this is life changing. Several years later, Michael heard about the various breast cancer walks through his cousin Mindy’s participation. Michael supported his cousin’s walk through a financial contribution & attended the closing ceremonies in Atlanta, GA.

Being touched, moved & inspired by the survivors & the stories of those not so lucky to survive, Michael choose to not just support the grand cause but to become active in the fight. Upon registering for the next available walk to be held in Santa Monica, CA, Michael learned that he had to raise a minimum contribution of $3,750 to walk a marathon & a half.

Michael decided he could raise at least $10,000 for the walk. Michael turned to those he works with within the Liberty League International community for support. His outspoken support for his upcoming walk was meet with an overwhelming flood of others within the Liberty League International Beyond Freedom community. Several members of Michael’s team also registered for the walk & assisted in raising their required minimum donations and more. Some of the people flew-in from across the country to walk together and make a difference in the walk & breast cancer research around the world. Michael’s personal fund raising efforts accounted for more than $10,000 & the other Liberty League International Associates contributed for a total that exceeded $20,000 raised for the Avon Breast Cancer Walk.

Michael’s wife Leslie joined in by assisting the walkers as a volunteer, truly making it a family affair.

Michael & his wife Leslie continue to support the Avon Breast Cancer walk & other breast cancer research around the world.

Goal!!!!

Welcome to 2007... Have you set goals for yourself for the next 12 months? Do you know that less than 10% of adults actually write their goals down on paper? Why is that? Is it that people are settling or that they do not want to hold themselves accountable? If you haven't established your goals & committed ink to paper...when? Someday? In case someone hasn't shared this with you, this is your life & you deserve to live life on your terms. I am amazed at how people sabotage themselves. I was speaking to a gentleman yesterday that lives in Northern California. He stated that he really "wished" that he & has wife & 18 month old son lived in Southern California. Imagine that? Someone is settling for less than they desire. Close your eyes right now. If you could live anywhere on the planet right now where would it be? Are you living there right now? I certainly hope so. If not, get moving. By the way, Leslie & I are in our new home... We moved in on New Year's Eve & had out 1st party on New Year's Day! I'll post more about that later!

How many people give their goals lipservice? I certainly have encountered my fair share. I am reflecting back at the goals I set for myself for 2006. Some of my goals were simple & effortless, while others made me really uncomfortable, even made me sick to my stomach. I have accomplished greater than 80% plus of the goals I set for my life & myself for 2006. I have also been looking around at the people I come into contact with and have been asking them about the goals they accomplished over the past 12 months. This should be surprising but sad to say it's not... The majority of people who have answered my ads in the past 30 days have not accomplished more than 20% of the goals they set for themselves in Dec 2005/January 2006. On the other hand, the majority of the people that I am working with are closer to my results, even higher. Why in the world is that you ask? Funny you should ask, because I am going to share it with you. Most people pay lipservice to what they want out of life. They are not playing on the court. You know what I mean... how many 3 point shots can you make when you're sitting in the stands? Not many, right? Now, how many 3 point shots can you make when you are standing on the court? If you're like me, you might not hit them all but your odds grow significantly (basketball is not my forte).

People are either moving towards their goals or away from their goals. I have found that the greater the emotional attachment to your goals and not to the outcome, the greater the success rate.

When it comes to goals, how are you looking at it? Someday or already achieving it? This is pretty simple & basic yet it can and does make all the difference in the world. If you look at your list of goals, did you write them down like you're leaving a list for Santa Claus? Dear Santa, please bring me a new train set - someday & and new Huffy BMX bike - someday. I was guilty of this. I think back exactly 4 years ago this week. I wrote down a list of goals for myself for 2003. The list read like this:

2003 Goals:
1. Marry Leslie
2. Make $50k more than 2002
3. Move to a house & live on the water - Lake Lanier

Did I set a date for any of this? Nope. Did I take possession of the outcome in advance of receiving it? Nope. Was I attached to any of this? Yes. I was pretty attached to marrying Leslie but other than that nope. Did any of my goals stretch my being and make my hands sweat? Nope. The guy who became my mentor was over at my house watching a bowl game & without me knowing, he drew the number 2 in front of the $50k on line 2. I discovered this towards the end of the night and made some stupid comment like yeah right, how would I do that? He said it's simple Michael; all you have to do is first make the decision and then take the action that takes you towards your goals. You have to be committed to your goals and be emotionally attached to them. Take possession of your goals in advance of receiving them. Well, let me tell you that was the dumbest answer I ever heard and the cynicism & disbelief pushed that right out of my reality. Fortunately for me I got a promotion at work that lowered my income & increased my responsibility & work load & exactly 60 days later, I was ready to take on my life, get serious about goals that stretched me to my core & guess what... I hit every goal on my board for 2003, even with his edit. Life is a choice. Are you choosing well?

Let me share something else with you. How many people have taken themselves right out of the game? Sometimes people do this even before playing. I am so guilty of this today. I played tennis with a Lisa today. I know that I am a better player than her. We started playing and all of a sudden this song starts playing in my head -> "Wow, it's been a long time since I played singles tennis, blah, blah, blah" & "this is such a different game than doubles tennis... that would have been a great shot in doubles, woulda, coulda, shoulda, didn't!!!" The first set we went back and forth, 1-0, 1-1, 1-2, 2-2, all the way to 5-5 and then my internal chatterbox was blaring! I lost the game mentally. Is it any surprise that I started having a hard time being present to the game? I could barely remember the score. I lost the 2nd set 6-3. Lisa did not beat me this morning, I beat myself. Do you know someone that will talk themselves out of attaining a goal or an ambition before they ever set foot on the court? Is it you?

I am committed to making 2007 my best year ever & mentoring anyone that is serious about accomplishing the same for their life in 2007.

2007 can be your best year ever… all you have to do is first make the decision & establish your goals, set a timeframe to accomplish them by and then take the action that takes you towards your goals. You have to be committed to your goals and be emotionally attached to them. Take possession of your goals in advance of receiving them.

Create a great day, you deserve it. Until next time...

Currently, I am rewatching The Secret DVD

Below is my 2007 gift for you… this is something I found on the back page of my college newspaper my freshman year in 1991. It has served me well these past 16 years.

Dream Big

If there were ever a time to dare,
To make a difference,
To embark on something worth doing,
It is now.
Not for any grand cause, necessarily,
But for something that tugs at your heart,
Something that's your aspiration,
Something that's your dream.

You owe it to yourself, to make your days here count.
Have fun.
Dig deep.
Stretch.

DREAM BIG

Know, though, things worth doing seldom come easy.
There will be good days,
And there will be times when you want to turn around,
Pick it up,
And call it quits.
These times tell you that you are pushing yourself,
That you are not afraid to learn by trying.

PERSIST

Because with an idea,
Determination,
And the right tools,
You can do great things.
Let your instincts,
Your intellect,
And your heart guide you.

TRUST

Believe in the incredible power of the human mind.
Of doing something that makes a difference.
Of working hard,
Of laughing and hoping,
Of lazy afternoons,
Of lasting friends,
Of all the things that will cross your path this year.

The start of something new,
Brings the hope of something great.
Anything is possible.
There is only one you,
And you will pass this way only once.
Do it right.

DREAM BIG

34.5 weeks

Holy cow, what a fast moving pace... In the past 4 days we have... gone to an all night party to hang with friends and watch the UFC fights, move into our new home, start unpacking, host a Rose Bowl party, visit the doctor's office for a weekly checkup for Leslie & the baby! Life is good. We're really enjoying our new home. This house has a great feeling to it. The babies crib gets delivered tomorrow morning & we are starting to create the nursery.
